I believe that at one time or another I have actually been in love with another human being. The love of an animal however is something entirely different. To be loved by an animal is truly a gift that can only be experienced not really explained. There is a bond there that is only with you and no other. They love regardless. They are there thru thick AND thin. Rain AND shine. Sure ok so they kind of have to be right because well they live with you. They could chose to emotionally disengage like so many human beings today instead when your sad they come running in the hopes of enlightening the situation. This photograph is of a friends cat. In this photograph I am petting her and trying to capture a shot at the same time. If you look close enough you can see in her green eye a reflection. That reflection is of me. Naturally there not super imposed. She was totally in love with me when I was loving her and that is the best part about animals, they live and love for the mom...
